I know we’ve, mis-communicated. I know that life, is hard to figure out.
I know You, are so consecrated. And I know this life, is harder without You.
But I still do the things I do, and hope that it will pull me through.
But time keeps on passing me by, and by and by.
What was I doing last night? How could I strayed so far from the light? I fought my ugly self and lost…and, and where were You?
What would possess me to do something that would push me away from You, pull me away from You.
I never knew if it would all be safe, but neglegted to remember that Your Spirit would crack the case
Of where I’ve been, and what I’ve been doing, winning and losing, every night.

I’ve found that facing the giants in the dark, isn’t so hard when, you’ve got a shield all about you, and a Light in your heart.
